The Product Analytics Data Team Lead will oversee a team of 3-4 product analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to support product development and strategy. This role involves managing data projects, developing analytical frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making.

What you’ll be spending your time on:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and ensure the professional growth of team members.
• Develop and implement the data analytics strategy for product insights, aligning it with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets, ensuring data quality and integrity across all processes.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct A/B test analysis and funnel analysis to evaluate product performance and user behavior.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decision-making.
• Manage multiple data projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and track and report on project progress and outcomes.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

• 5+ years of experience in product analysis, with a strong focus on data-driven insights and strategy.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience, including leading and mentoring a team of data analysts and data scientists.
• Proven experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
