Position Summary:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Team Leader, Finance Operations and lead a top-performing team focused on flawless financial operations. Drive growth and maintain excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Finance Operations team to achieve outstanding results, including setting clear expectations and providing mentorship and support.
  • Coordinate and ensure the flawless execution of daily financial operations, strictly adhering to company policies and internal controls.
  • Determine and implement strategies to successfully manage and reduce financial risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Service and Commercial teams to improve credit quality and cash flow.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, portfolio assessments, and team development sessions.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, collection agencies, and legal entities to ensure efficient debt recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to financial operations.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to achieve lean, standardized operations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proficient in English.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Previous experience leading an operational team in accounts receivable or customer service.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Oracle E1, SAP, CForia).
  • Excellent digital literacy, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
