Team Leader SAP & Process Development Senior SME

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Team Leader SAP & Process Development Senior SME based in India.

This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of SAP systems, supply chain process excellence, and large-scale business transformation. The position is responsible for driving end-to-end process design and system enablement across O2C and F2S domains within a complex global supply chain environment. You will act as the key SAP authority, ensuring standardized, scalable, and compliant solutions that support business continuity and operational efficiency. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on governance of SAP developments, deployments, and change initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across IT, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless system integration. This is a high-impact position where your expertise directly shapes process discipline, system reliability, and digital transformation maturity across the organization.

In this role, you will lead SAP process and system excellence across supply chain domains, ensuring strong governance, standardization, and continuous improvement. You will be accountable for aligning business requirements with SAP-enabled solutions and driving enterprise-wide adoption of best practices.

• Define and drive end-to-end SAP-enabled process design across O2C and F2S functions, ensuring alignment with global supply chain strategy
• Lead SAP change management, deployment governance, regression testing, and release readiness activities across the cluster
• Establish and maintain strong process discipline, ensuring adherence to documented standards, controls, and ways of working
• Act as the primary SAP SME for supply chain systems, providing expert guidance to key users and business stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SAP processes, system capabilities, and operational workflows
• Partner with IT, PEX, and business teams to ensure seamless implementation of system enhancements and country deployments
• Build SAP capability within the organization through training, support, and structured knowledge sharing

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep SAP expertise combined with strong leadership experience in supply chain transformation and enterprise system environments. You should be comfortable operating in complex, global organizations and driving cross-functional alignment.

• 12–15 years of experience in SAP-driven supply chain process areas, particularly O2C and F2S
• Strong expertise in SAP systems, process design, and end-to-end supply chain integration
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, deployment, and change management initiatives
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, process governance, and system standardization
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and scalable solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business leadership
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
• SAP certification or supply chain accreditation (e.g., APICS) is highly preferred
• Exposure to agile practices, project management, and digital transformation programs is a plus
