Description and Requirements
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Elasticsearch Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets stored in Elasticsearch, deriving actionable insights, and optimizing search functionalities to support various business initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support, ensuring that our data retrieval processes are efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in Elasticsearch, and the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data stored in Elasticsearch to derive actionable insights
• Develop and optimize search queries to enhance data retrieval and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of Elasticsearch queries, identifying areas for improvement
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, queries, and analytical processes
• Assist in the design and implementation of dashboards and visualizations using Kibana
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and remediate issues with platforms & data collection
• Fundamental understanding of the functionality of BMC True Sight Capacity Optimization solutions and architecture along with different Integration methods
• Devise an authentication and authorization model for monitoring within standard Client Infrastructure framework. Develop customizations as needed

• Architect a highly available and scalable infrastructure with appropriate monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Seek opportunities for automated deployments to reduce operational tasks.
• Seek opportunities for integration of Server with other monitoring tools in the Client portfolio.
• Test and implement Monitoring Extensions appropriate for Client's technology stack (e.g. Webservers; Messaging Tiers).
• provide first level response to questions from stakeholder about APM configuration
• Troubleshoot APM alerting and container monitoring configuration issues and provide RCA Perform routine administrative tasks, including monitoring, logging, and health checks
• Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way thats geared towards the requirement
• Maintain and improve already existing processes

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field with 4+ years of IT and Infrastructure engineering work experience.
Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Elasticsearch and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to investigate complex technical issues
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholder teams
• Fast learner who is eager to learn new technologies and tools
• Excellent work ethic and willingness to take ownership and accountability for task delivery
