Team Technical Lead

Information Technology Strategies Inc is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Team Technical Lead to work for our company.

Summary:

• Client Agency is DHS
• Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• The Technical Lead is responsible for empowering cross-functional teams to meet the functional requirements set forth by the OIT-PM and product management team. The Technical Lead must have strong verbal and written communication skills and must collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, designers, scrum masters, and business analysts to build easy to use software applications using a variety of leading-edge technologies.
• Responsible for communicating technical options, and associated tradeoffs and risks, with the OIT-PM, product management team and USCIS Leadership.
• Actively seeks knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools in order to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
• Foster the use of Agile practices within teams to enable delivery of deployable software within specified times.
• Actively participate in design sessions, sprint ceremonies and cross functional and integration team meetings.
• Provide guidance and oversight of testing practices and code reviews and ensure the security and integrity of the code base and product.
• Collaborate with team members and integration partners to develop new features as well as to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in all environments.
• Must be willing and able to participate in an oral presentation preparation and code challenge. 
  

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field.

Preferences:

• An active CSM or Agile certification
