Tech Arena Conversion - Lead (Grand Garden Arena)

THE JOB:

It is the Tech Arena Conversion - Lead's responsibility to facilitate the day-to-day conversion to ensure accurate and timely completion of conversions between events.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Sets and strikes staging, risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dashers, ice making, boxing rings, etc. as directed by the Arena Conversion Supervisor.
• Stores equipment in pre-designated areas.
• Performs minor maintenance on equipment used for setting and striking events.
• Operates company vehicles and any mobile equipment related to arena operations.
• Performs administrative duties related to event productions.
• Work along Conversion Tech II staff on all other conversion related duties

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Takes pride in their work.
• Describes themselves as oriented.
• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Prior experience of conversion/stage production and ice equipment.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools related to welding and fabricating.
• Working knowledge of bleacher drives systems and maintenance.
• Boom Lift, Scissor Lift and Forklift experience.
• OSHA 10 Certified
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
