Tech Designer

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Senior Tech Designer ahead of and during weekly fits: measure all samples prior to fitting, steaming samples, sending out fit list and taking notes during fit.
  
• Add fit photos to techpacks after each fit, and assist Senior Tech Designer on comments 
• Organize and manage fit samples
• Maintain and manage sample fit dates and manage sample tracker
• Comfortable communicating with vendors
  
• Join initial techpack pass-off and design details meetings with Design Team and assist Senior Tech Designer 
• Update techpacks 
• Update construction detail pages as needed 
• Add updated sketches to techpacks 
• 3+ years of experience as a TD
• Be comfortable working in Dropbox, Excel 
• Experience across categories including wovens and knits. Experience in swimwear  and kid's is a plus.
  
• Create and update tech packs, including detailed sketches, measurement specs, and construction details from development through to production
  
• Assist in issuing final grading
• Identify opportunities for improvement on construction and fit related issues
  
• Ability to analyze and evaluate garments to improve fit and construction execution

• Salary range:  $70,000-80,000
