Summary/Overview:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is seeking a Lead Endpoint Engineer to join its Endpoint Engineering Team! This is a backfill position based out of our NY office, but with the option of being fully remote. We are looking for someone versatile with both Windows and Mac environments. You will carry the primary responsibility of leading our Endpoint Engineering team and performing day to day operations of various desktop systems, with room to grow. You are expected to participate in a team on-call rotation as well.

About the Job:

Collaboration with various teams such as InfoSec, Desktop Support, Networking & Infrastructure will be required at times, as well as providing a high level of escalation to our IT Support Team.

You will:

• Maintain and innovate hardware & lifecycle management for both platforms, helping KBRA stay ahead with the latest and greatest technologies
• Build, maintain, and lead the management of our Windows & Mac environments
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure our desktop environment remains secure, stable, and reliable
• Perform routine audits on our systems to ensure maximum reliability and uptime is required
• Lead operational tasks including workstation imaging (creating & deploying), workstation builds/testing/patching, application building/testing/deployments, administering GPO changes and much more for both Windows and Mac platforms
• assist in an escalated support role when needed

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• 4-6 years of experience working in IT, endpoint or desktop engineering/senior level support required
• Computer Science degree or similar preferred.
• Advanced experience with OS deployment, image creation, application packaging, OS patching required
  • Mac & Windows
• Microsoft Office 365 experience required.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP experience required.
• Advanced Windows 10 or 11 experience required, Mac experience required.
• SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager experience required, JAMF experience preferred.
• Batch File & VB Scripting preferred.
• Virtualization support experience at the desktop level preferred (VirtualBox, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with security applications/processes preferred.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $120,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
