About the Role

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to spearhead the development of new features, drive project execution, and devise scalable solutions in close collaboration with the product manager and the engineering team.

About the Team

The Product Engineering team focuses on building intuitive web applications as well as our core transcription platform, integrating cutting-edge machine learning models. We tackle unique human-in-the-loop challenges in a 3-sided marketplace and collaborate with the Machine Learning team to seamlessly integrate AI into our product.

• Real-time transcript
• AI-generated transcript summaries
• Semantic search across case documents

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and take ownership for the delivery of the team.
• Work with the product manager to define the roadmap, align the team around it, break it down into projects, and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure Parrot stays at the bleeding edge of modern web app development.
• Design scalable systems that stand the test of time.
• Help build a top-tier engineering team in a culture that challenges assumptions while ensuring everyone feels included.

You’re a fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Have experience leading teams and engineering projects.
• Have experience across the stack with a preference for Python for backend code and React in web development. You should be adaptable and willing to learn new skills and technologies.
• Have experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, Temporal
• Are willing to iterate quickly and learn on the job
• Demonstrate commitment to excellence in your work and the work of your peers.
• Thrive in a collaborative and remote environment.
• Able to collaborate with team members from various functions to identify and solve customer problems.
