Salary pegged to AUD or Paid in AUD

What are we looking for?

Right now, we are looking for a Technical Lead to join our growing team in Sri Lanka.

Required skills:

• Extensive experience with Node.js and microservices architecture
• Strong JavaScript and Typescript abilities
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using TypeScript, AWS, Next.js, and NestJS
• Experience working with React.js (or equivalent frontend stack)
• Experience with containerization (Experience in Azure/AKS will be an added bonus) 
• Experience in public clouds such as AWS and Azure and various cloud native services.
• Willingness to get involved in DevOps work when needed (Azure DevOps experience will be an advantage)
• Proven experience as a proactive member of a collaborative, autonomous team
• Experience with software development best practices such as TDD, BDD and CI/CD
• Understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

Job Description

• Developing and maintaining internet scale service applications with network components built on private & public cloud.
• Determining requirements and providing project estimates and timelines
• Working closely with Developers, DevOps Engineers, System Engineers, Account Managers and Product Managers
• Ability to train and mentor junior team members 
• Managing project scope before, during and post–delivery.
• Architecting & Designing applications by adapting proven industry best practices alongside the R&D objectives.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the services, databases, and maximum responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Raising the bar on application & infrastructure code quality.
• Strengthening the application and platform Security by adopting security best practices.
• Practicing Test Driven Development (TDD) along with automating quality tests to uncover functional & non-functional issues as early as possible.
• Improving application's ability to continuously integrate & deploy (CI/CD) to facilitate frequent and smaller releases with no customer impact.
• Baking observability into the applications, actively monitoring and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitoring various performance indicators of the applications & running diagnostic tests in order to make continuous improvements and optimizations.
