The Goals team is responsible for features that are directly responsible for saving our members millions of dollars per week. We believe that setting goals is key to helping people achieve their financial dreams. If you agree, and you love the team sport that we call software, you might be a great fit for this role!

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

• Take ownership of a system that saves members over a million dollars a week in a world-class Personal Finance Management app.
• Actively contribute and review code changes, drive technical and architectural decisions, and be a sounding board for your team’s ideas.
• Support and grow a small team of highly-skilled full-stack engineers who love shipping quality software, via regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the product team on a roadmap that evolves this system into the finance management platform of the future.
• Integrate with other systems that *also* save our users money, enrich their finances, and simplify their lives.
• Work with a highly-supportive and effective leadership team.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

• You have 6+ years of experience in product engineering, including leading other engineers. You love to build and observe healthy distributed systems.
• You feel accountable for the technical output and quality of your team’s work. You empower your team to take the lead and own the work that they do.
• You understand that organizations are at their best when engineering effort is aligned to business outcomes. You strive to make that alignment engaging, exciting, and eminently achievable.
• You’re pragmatic and have a bias for action, even when solutions are less than perfect.
• You want to help engineers at all levels grow into their best selves.

Additional information: Salary range of $150,000 - $175,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
