We’re looking for a Software Engineer Manager to join our Augmented Reality team.
You will help build a platform that powers creative experiences in augmented reality. You will own and drive high-level features from planning through design and implementation, be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, and solve complex technical problems that will impact millions of Snapchat users daily.

• What you’ll do:

  • Drive the technical and organizational roadmap for the engineering team

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams distributed across multiple locations

  • Build and grow a team of exceptional software engineers and technical leaders

  • Influence key decisions on architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
     

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with complex backend systems serving a largeTec scale user base.

  • Experience in working with distributed systems.

  • Experience in working with both internal and external partners.
     

• Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience- Python, Go, C++

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team.
