Tech Lead- SQL

Beghou Consulting is currently seeking an SQL Developer for our Hyderabad office. This position plays a key role in the development and maintenance of SQL Server databases, configuring front-end applications, reporting tools, and data collection systems as part of Beghou’s software development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing efficient solutions to business requests to comply with client requirements.

We'll trust you to:

• Architect, design, and develop complex SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Lead the implementation of advanced indexing strategies, partitioning, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
• Continuously optimize database performance by analyzing and fine-tuning complex SQL queries, execution plans, and indexing.
• Implement and manage Azure SQL Databases, utilizing features such as Azure Managed Instances, Elastic Pools, and Hyperscale.
• Monitor and optimize Azure SQL performance through resource scaling and advanced telemetry.
• Collaborate with software development and data science teams to integrate database solutions seamlessly into application environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Participate in peer code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to the enhancement of database development practices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including index management, backup/restoration, and database health monitoring.
• Implement data security measures such as Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Ensure compliance with corporate quality policies and procedures.

You'll need to have:

• 7-10 years of experience as a Sr. SQL Developer
• Advanced T-SQL programming including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Performance tuning and query optimization using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and Query Store.
• Managing and optimizing Azure SQL Databases.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration tools.
• Advanced SQL Server features like In-Memory OLTP, Columnstore indexes, and Data Compression.
