Tech Manager

Overview:

Our Compliance Line of Business (LoB) is seeking a Technical Manager. This role is responsible for the software development of our Communications Compliance SURVEIL-X solution for the financial services and banking industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Manager to lead our Product Development team in the Compliance Domain. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of cutting-edge compliance solutions that meet regulatory requirements and exceed industry standards. As a Technical Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship to a team of talented engineers and developers.

• Product Leadership: Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of compliance domain products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

• Team Management: Build and nurture a high-performing team of engineers and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Technical Expertise: Bring deep technical knowledge and expertise in compliance domain products, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, set clear objectives, and drive product development strategies.

• Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all compliance domain products adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements, with a focus on security, data protection, and quality assurance.

• Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project goals and milestones.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, conveying complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

• Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability and performance.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and technology enhancements within the compliance domain.

Qualifications - Essential:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical leadership and management roles, preferably in the compliance domain.
• 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering of which 3+ years' experience in managing a team of software developers.
• Extensive experience in product development using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Familiar with DevOps processes and tools employed to support CI/CD and monitoring.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, security, and compliance in product development.

Qualifications - Desired:

• Experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a significant advantage, showcasing your ability to leverage cloud-based solutions effectively.
• Experience with indexing technologies and search platforms, such as Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, or AWS Elasticsearch
