Tech Policy Reporter (Paid Product Launch)

 Quick take: Axios is dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. We are hiring reporters to help launch a paid subscription news product to expand our coverage of the most important news about tech policy in Washington.

Why it matters: Our Tech Reporter will work with a partner to write a daily newsletter with a sharp eye on scoops and big picture trend stories.

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios through the following responsibilities:

• Launch THE daily, must-read newsletter for influential readers who need to know what’s happening in the halls of Congress and agencies.
• Land definitional scoops and illuminate the biggest trends
• Work with the Axios Pro team and the broader Axios newsroom to elevate all of our coverage that touches on tech.

Salary Range: Base salary for this role is in the range of $90,000-$125,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits.
