Job Description:

HPE is building an Accelerator Testbed for specialized AI chips, and we are looking for a dynamic leader to drive this effort. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a mix of technical and business acumen to drive a key part of HPE's overall AI strategy.

HPE's Advanced AI Solutions & Technologies (AST) team's goal is to expand HPE's AI offerings and market leadership by identifying and evaluating advanced capabilities and emerging trends in AI. One of our key technology focuses is novel AI processor architecture. Reporting to the AI Chief Strategist within HPE's AI Solutions organization, the AI Accelerator Testbed Program Manager will be responsible for the overall success of this exciting new initiative.

Due to the nature of the work being performed, proximity to an HPE office is required (Houston, TX is preferred).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure the overall success of the testbed initiative
• Oversee implementation, launch, and operations of the testbed system
• Develop testbed offerings and supporting processes and materials
• Ensure streamlined operations of the testbed initiative
• Act as the evangelist for the initiative internally and externally
• Work with sales to identify potential customers and develop a pipeline of customers and internal users
• Work across HPE (including solution teams, product teams, CTO, and HP Labs) to ensure that outcomes and learnings from the testbed inform product development and future technology development directions
• Present testbed status to senior business leaders and executives

Experience and Skills

• Proven track record of launching successful new initiatives with limited resources
• Demonstrated experience with data center deployments and/or HPC systems, direct experience with AI technologies and/or advanced accelerators/processors
• Strong history of influencing key internal and external stake holders is critical
• Experience with AI technology is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
