Tech Support Associate

Summary: The Technical Support Associate role, located at either Dime's Hauppauge Headquarters or one of Dime's corporate offices, is responsible for responding to inquiries and requests for assistance with Dime's technical systems Identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide advice to assist users. Escalate issues to senior technicians to resolve problems as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain application users.
• Respond to service requests via phone and email, direct service requests to appropriate senior team members.
• Install and maintain PC hardware, software, and peripherals using approved configurations.
• Assist users and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Strive for accuracy in recording support issues, work logs, resolution, and solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or related certifications with minimum 1 year experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience a plus.

• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, dependability, punctuality, and reliability.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to elicit information by asking appropriate questions.
