Tech Transfer Principal Program Analyst

The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an experienced Tech Transfer Principal Program Analyst to support technology transfer activities and programs of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). In this position, you will apply your science, engineering, and program management expertise to help OUSD(R&E)'s Director of Infrastructure and Technology Transfer develop and provide guidance that supports cutting-edge technologies and capabilities. The expected start date is mid to late March 2023.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience in science and technology program management and transition
• Application of knowledge of tech transition policy, authorities, laws, and regulations for tech transfer
• Program assessment, evaluation, and budget analysis and development and review of award and funding opportunity packages
• Strategic communications
• Development and staffing of technical packages

Required Skills:

• Bachelors' degree in STEM or other related field
• 10+ years of relevant technology and technical program management execution
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be a US citizen
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency (MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Access, Excel)
• Demonstrated success and initiative in the conception and execution of new projects
• Must have an active / current DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in relevant discipline
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting OUSD(R&E)
• Experience with DoD and National laboratories
