Job Description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 18 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-IT User Support Analyst II

Responds and resolves cyber security incidents. Acts as a triage specialist to incidents. Escalates trouble tickets to Tier 2 Analyst(s) as needed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Monitors the operation of systems and networks to ensure business continuity. Reviews the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency.
  • Scans to identify security vulnerabilities and potential risks; takes effective measures to prevent and reduce cyber security incidents.
  • Analyzes potential risks, vulnerabilities, malware, etc.; as needed.
  • Contributes to security audit on a regular basis to ensure compliance with cyber security policies and standards. Manages and configures security monitoring tools (netflows, IDS, correlation rules, etc.).

CW-Technical Writer

The CW-Technical Writer works within the Global Infrastructure Services team to author, edit, and review technical documentation. Working with limited oversight, the candidate will work with internal technical resources and teams to gather, write, and publish technical information for varied audiences. The Technical Writer should have strong writing skills, the ability to synthesize technical content from an subject matter expert (SME) to create technical documentation, training materials, "How To Guides", Implementation documents, etc. - that clearly explain technical competences to technical and end users based on their persona.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Write software documentation from technical specifications, discussions with engineers, and hands-on experimentation
  • Produce How-Tos, tutorials, user guides, and knowledge base content
  • Contribute to doc standards, including participating in peer editing
  • Update existing docs to reflect changes to functionality

Experience

  • 5 years' experience in technical writing
  • Prior experience working with technology teams
  • Strong communications skills, including written, verbal and
  • presentation
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Infrastructure experience is a must

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in experience in English, Communication, Journalism,
  • Prior experience working within IT Infrastructure or Application Development departments

Base Pay Range: $31.16/hr. - $33.88/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
