Synopsys, the leader in the Application Security market, is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to engage in structured, strategic collaboration with our largest customers, enabling them to best manage software risk with Synopsys products and services.
The Team
The Synopsys Software Integrity Group Technical Account Management team exists to support the development of our strategic customers' AppSec vision, by increasing adoption and improving utilization of SIG technology in the enterprise. The TAMs help some of the planet's largest and most complex organizations successfully build secure, high-quality software faster, and derive the maximum value from their Synopsys solutions.

Job Location: Remote in United States, Work From Home
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the other members of the account team to strategize, orchestrate, and execute activities tailored to each strategic customer.
- Ensure value realization by increasing adoption, optimizing technology, managing complexity, and evangelizing best practices.
- Be a strategic partner aligned on business priorities, helping to address capability gaps and to craft executive strategies.
- Be a trusted advisor, providing guidance on industry and technology trends, and acting
as an instrument for informed and better decisions. - Provide proactive advocacy within Synopsys, orchestrating resources and
helping to prioritize requests. - Increase customers' efficiency by preventing issues, resolving challenges
and helping them to leverage new capabilities faster. - Facilitate community-building and knowledge-sharing.
- Experience in a customer-facing role in the software/IT industry.
- Knowledge of application security (AppSec) and vulnerabilities.
- Some software development experience in either C/C++, Java, C#, or other dominant programming language.
- Some knowledge with Continuous Integration and DevOps tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- The ability to travel up to 10-30% of the time as the job requires.
- Bachelor's Degree ideally in a related field ex. Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM field.
- A successful track record as a technical account manager, solution architect, or sales engineer for complex AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps products and services.
- Security certification such as CEH, CISSP, or CSSLP.
- Experience with enterprise-scale web development technologies and microservices.
- Understanding of open-source licensing issues.
- MBA or Master's degree in management or technical field
