Job Summary:
The UiPath Technical Account Manager (TAM) will be a crucial member of the UiPath account team, responsible for ensuring the technical success of our customers with the UiPath platform. As the TAM, you will work closely with multiple USCIS Information Technology (IT) programs and business initiatives, interacting with other OIT federal and contractor teams. Your primary objective will be to drive customer satisfaction and value by providing expert technical guidance and advisory services related to the UiPath platform.
Technical Objectives for TAM:
- Take ownership of customers' technical success with the UiPath platform, acting as their trusted technical advisor.
- Collaborate with the UiPath account team to develop and execute adoption plans that deliver exceptional business value for customers.
- Engage and influence customers, guiding the technical maturity of their automation programs and helping them achieve their objectives.
- Provide expertise in UiPath platform infrastructure, installation, and upgrade planning, as well as guided assistance and troubleshooting.
- Educate and enable customers' technical stakeholders on UiPath platform best practices tailored to their unique automation pipelines, program objectives, environments, and constraints.
- Conduct design and code reviews for select automations, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimization.
- Perform technical health checks of customers' automation programs and environments, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with UiPath Product Support and other subject matter experts to manage and resolve escalated support incidents, ensuring timely and positive closure.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
- Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and automation goals.
- Provide technical guidance during the implementation and deployment of the UiPath platform, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with the UiPath account team to develop customer-specific technical solutions and strategies.
- Participate in technical workshops and presentations to showcase the value of the UiPath platform.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customers' automation programs and advocate for the adoption of new features and functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in RPA technology and the UiPath platform to ensure customers benefit from the latest innovations.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, documentation, and training materials for customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in technical customer-facing roles.
- Solid background in programming, preferably .NET, but others are acceptable: C#, C++, VB, Java, Python, or PowerShell as examples.
- Previous experience with UiPath or other relevant vendor products is highly desired.
- SaaS and Cloud technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies.
- Prior experience in technical support or technical consulting is a plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following is desirable: Windows and Linux server infrastructure, IT, network troubleshooting, and security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption.
- Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working with customers and partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English fluency is required.
- Computer Science degree (or equivalent).
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
