Technical Advisor III
Point & Pay- Remote, United States
What you'll be doing:
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for multiple point-of-sale (POS) solutions within an allotted amount of time such as; terminals, software applications, gateways, and semi-integrated solutions.
- Diligently manage customer cases within various support tools, and communicate any perceived delays to management immediately upon identification.
- Identify and report technical issues through feedback gathered while fulfilling Terminal Support requests and supporting all customers.
- Interact with multiple departments and provide strategic insight to solve enterprise-wide issues that impact our customer base
- Provide support for escalated requests beyond level 2 advisors via phone, email, or tickets.
- Ensure customer and partner inquiries are responded to within established timeframes and service levels are achieved.
- Provide mentoring to level 1 & level 2 customer support
- Provide support coaching to customer support as needed
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a technical support, internal help desk, or desktop support role.
- Minimum one (2) years of experience technical support of payment devices
- Deep understanding of the processing of Terminal Engineering Support Jira tickets, and sales order processing.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain processes to others.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage stress effectively.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and operating systems.
- Ability to complete service requests and communicate solutions professionally via multiple channels with minimal guidance.
- Ability to prioritize and shift workload based on support needs
Hourly Range: $25- $31
