Job Description
Primarily responsible for supporting mission critical application systems software and interfaces requiring high technical and systems knowledge along with advanced troubleshooting skills. Provide day-to-day support for complex applications systems including supporting business users working with multiple internal and external applications with critical interfaces having a significant direct impact to our customers. Help enable business success and create raving fans with business users by providing top notch support for systems including coordinating and participating in development, testing, disaster recovery planning/testing, change management/deployment, and daily support .
The Technical Analyst III job family is responsible for delivering superior services acting as a liaison between the line of business and IT with a focus on end user experience such as user interfacing, user flow, data flow. Using comprehensive expertise, defining and performing analysis, design, programming, planning, implementation, and supporting of some of the most critical systems software and procedures with a focus on our long term technology road map which require technical and systems knowledge.

How You'll Spend Your Time
You will u tilize your knowledge of troubleshooting to take on day-to-day support of mission critical applications and support and develop simple to complex stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications.
You will actively partner and collaborate with Technical teams and Vendors, data acquisition and information delivery.
You will perform job scheduling responsibilities including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plan; while also understanding and creating data flow documentation (includes data mapping and conversion mapping) for complexity ranging from single application data flow to multiple application data flows.
You will be responsible for complex systems process analysis, testing, implementation, configuration, deployments, and disaster recovery. Employ IT governance policies and technology standards.
You will have experienced technical understanding of multiple application data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, tiered environments.
You will track metrics and trends of application performance and remediate issues. Develop and maintain application documentation; define and maintain application configuration.
You will drive change control processes as applied to supported applications and projects; drive support incident management.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 8-10 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced SQL skills a must - Strong experience with complex SQL queries, SSIS Packages, Executables, along with an ability to troubleshoot and create detailed documentation; SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Experience working with a large data warehouse is highly preferable.
- Following problems thru to resolution - this is not just making sure a job finishes for the day. Its digging deeper into why there was a problem, doing all that can be done to avoid this in the future, with code changes, process changes etc. and then Documenting in detail the issue and resolve.
- Willing to learn and accepting that we all have knowledge limitations, being proactive in setting up meetings etc. to learn more on how applications work, and how to handle problems when they arise on our (support team) own.
- Ability to prioritize work in a Tiered environment
- Oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate issues and explain resolutions
- Willing to learn applications used internally such as AWA (Job Scheduling software). Power BI, etc.
- Ability to take initiative as you focus on the desired deliverables, while meeting and exceeding your goals.
- A background with tracking and solving complex problems in a variety of situations and function effectively in rapidly changing or unclear conditions.
