Job Description

The IT Vulnerability Manager is responsible for analyzing high risk vulnerability data, ensuring the issues are assigned appropriately across IT and ensuring the issues are addressed in a timely manner based on the service level objectives. The VM will collaborate with Security to fully understand the data and report on resolution progress. The VM will document the process and mature the process. The VM will prepare reporting dashboards and present the information to IT Managers to ensure awareness of the program and to ensure an overall IT understanding of the metrics and goals in relation to vulnerability management. The VM will align data with appropriate exceptions and projects and will report on and track progress towards closure of items. The ideal VM will have strong data analysis skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and leadership skills. They should be comfortable leading meetings and driving consensus and action items with technical resources. Understanding of ServiceNow and general IT technology terminology is a plus.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You will be analyzing vulnerability data provided by Security using InsightVM and ServiceNow for trends, hot spots and priority

You will ensuring the items are assigned appropriately across IT

You will understanding vulnerability criticality in order to drive priority focus as required

You will be responsible for documenting the process, creating ServiceNow reporting dashboards

You will be presenting the process to IT teams to raise awareness of the program

You will focus on the quarterly risk goals

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
