Job Description

The Technical Analyst IV is responsible for delivering superior services acting as a liaison between the line of business and IT partners with a focus on end user experience such as data integration and flow, application support and project delivery. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Defines and performs analysis, design, planning, implementation, and supports critical business processes and procedures with a focus on our long term technology road map which require technical and systems knowledge. The Technical Analyst manages plans, organizes, and controls projects which have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will assist in maintaining our AML, CTR, OFAC and Fraud applications that will include troubleshooting issues, applying patches, handling upgrades and participating in our disaster recovery strategies.

  • You will use analytical skills to perform data analysis and data mapping to combine multiple data sources into one staging area within a SQL environment.

  • You will work closely with ETL developers to provide requirements and test changes to data.

  • You will create business requirements and test cases for projects that involve our supported applications, occasionally acting as project manager.

  • You will contribute to the technology strategy in the development of multi-year technology roadmaps.

  • You will develop and maintain critical vendor relationships.

  • You will have advanced technical understanding of application data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMS principles, tiered environments, and cloud environments.

    Education & Experience Requirements

    This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong background in writing SQL queries

  • Knowledge of banking industry preferred

  • Knowledge of Actimize (SAM, CDD, Actone, Xceed) preferred

  • IT and IS standards and concepts

  • Experience working in a fast-paced team on multiple projects involving different groups with shifting priorities

  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills

  • Solid collaborative skills
