Technical Architect

Position Type: Full-Time Salary (Hybrid)
Location: Shinola HQ , Seattle, WA- preferred / Remote Available 
Reports to: Director of Information Technology

• AX Technical Support 
  • Minimize business process downtime, and maximize operational efficiencies
  • Identify the root cause of identified technical issues and implement solutions that allow the application to resume expected behavior
  • Guide AX/D365 processes and offer suggestions for improvements to currently used processes
  • Same-day resolution on all assigned critical bugs - long-term solutions on short-term workarounds
• AX Development
  • Continuously expend functionality of AX/D365 to meet current and future business needs of the company 
  • Maintain overall system architecture and standards 
  • Build new functionality and enhancements to existing functionality that meet the requirements specified through functional specifications
  • Maintain organized source control and documentation
  • Provide code deployment best practices 

• Application Administration
  • Ensure AX/D365 uptime, reliability, and performance to maximize user productivity
  • Maintain Bedrock's AX/D365 infrastructure, including development, test, and production environments
  • Test and install security patches and hotfixes
• Quality Assurance
  • Identify and resolve as many potential bugs and issues before projects are released to production to maintain high-level trust with our customers 
  • Thoroughly test assigned development tasks and projects (after completion) for potential bugs and issues, using standard software testing methods and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Application development certifications
• 2+ years as a Technical Architect (specifically working with Dynamics AX/D365)
• 3+ years as a Systems Analyst

• SQL Stored Procedures
