POSITION: Technical Architect

JOB DUTIES: Provide architecture-level infrastructure recommendations, configuration, and sizing requirements to support the Boomi product suite. Work closely with customers and partners to gather requirements and design complex business application and data integration solutions. Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and designs. Evaluate new applications to assess integration approach. Be a product expert of Boomi applications including Atomsphere Integration, Flow, API Management, B2B/EDI Management, Master Data Hub & Data Catalog & Prep. Recommend best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform. Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Boomi's products across the internal and external user community. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the United States. 15% domestic travel required.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalency, in Computer Science, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, the job offered, or related occupation. Must have two (2) years of experience in the following: Integration platforms; Design and optimization of applications and data integration processes across disparate systems; Enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns; Implementing services oriented architecture design and enabling technologies: messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP with Cloud and SaaS paradigm and enabling technologies; Business systems: CRM, SFA, or ERP; Business processes such as lead to cash, requisitions, order management or related; Application infrastructure components: VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, or SMB), Java JVM, networking (firewall, load balancing, or proxies); and OS experience with Linux. Must have one (1) year of demonstrated experience in the following: Setting up infrastructure on premise or with a cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
