Technical Architect

Job Description:
Position Summary
As a Technical Architect, ERP applications, you will be an entrusted asset playing a key role in Bank of America's Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation of financial modules. This is an exciting role that requires hands-on implementation, leadership, and problem-solving experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, primarily Financials (AP, Tax, FA, SLA, Payments, CM, GL etc with high competency in Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2) business processes. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as Global Solution Deliver Lead on key implementations across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, AMERICAS related to solution design, implementation, testing and deployment of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and other ERPs.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the roadmap and blueprint for Oracle Cloud Financials vision and corresponding projects
• Possesses deep knowledge in Oracle Cloud ERP and has multi-year experience in full life cycle implementations of Cloud ERP Financial Solutions - especially AP, FA, Tax, Payments, SLA and GL
• Has in-depth knowledge of the business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues, and competitive marketplace in ERP domain to develop and deliver value added business solutions that have a measurable impact on results
• Understand technology trends and the practical application of emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
• Lead cross functional teams related to ERP technologies (financial and supply chain)
• Define and publish KPIs / BVIs
• Able to foster a network of subject matter experts in Oracle Financials modules
• Able to lead global implementations across APAC, EMEA, LATAM and AMERICA
• Lead Tax functionality (withholding, VAT, GST), Payments (ISO 20022) across all regions
• Strong communication skills to facilitate working in a dynamic project environment
• Strong knowledge of business processes and controls for Oracle Financials
• Able to liaison across Operations, architecture, development, testing and consulting teams
• Able to liaison with 3rd party consulting firms and Oracle development teams
• Identify functionality gaps, perform POCs and develop solutions / workarounds
• Provide functional / technical consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
• Lead design, configuration / development, and data Conversions of Oracle Fusion Financial modules
• Able to drive requirements for Upstream and Downstream applications based on the impacts to Oracle Fusion application
• Coordinate with payment systems like CashPro to gather technical requirements for Payment file formatting
• Conduct POCs on new functionality
• Share knowledge to continuously improve implementation methodology
• Familiar with Oracle Fusion Cloud quarterly patching
• Oversee the monitoring, managing, fixing, and enhancement processes
• Direct and manage staff to provide functional and technical solutions related to Oracle ERP

Required Skillset:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
• 7-10+ years' experience leading Oracle ERP Financial modules (AP, Tax, FA, SLA, Payments, Cash Management, GL)
• 5+ years' experience leading Oracle ERP Fusion Financial modules
• Expertise in global implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials
• Expert in Oracle PL/SQL ,Unix shell scripting
• Expertise in leading both functional and technical teams related to Oracle ERP Fusion Financial modules
• Expertise in BIP / OTBI reporting
• Knowledge of Segregation of Duty frameworks, Webservices (SOAP / REST), Autosys, Shell scripting
• Knowledge of ERP applications - Ariba, GEP, Concur, SAP ECC
• Worked in an Agile environment
