Technical Architect

CSE Software Inc. is a privately held, woman-owned business seeking to expand its Enterprise Software Development team with a Technical Architect. We've been doing remote work right since 2001 and currently have team members in four states.

We are seeking Technical Architects of the highest caliber ready to step in and deliver high quality programs while mentoring and training team members at all levels of experience. The right person will join an established team with involvement in diverse industries and multiple fortune 100 clients.

Required:

• Experience in choosing and defining architectures for implementation by your team
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based web solutions
• Proven ability to lead a team of developers at all career stages
• Mid-career professional looking to expand and grow their career
• Ability to translate between stakeholder and developer perspectives
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent (5+ years) experience
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, and the various Microsoft Azure products and services available
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, GIT, SonarCloud, and other third-party tools.
• Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, best practices, and designing the ideal solution
• Knowledge of unit testing strategies
• Understanding of quality control as it pertains to the software development life cycle
• Ability to create a dedicated work space (if full-time remote) or commute to our Peoria office Tuesdays and Thursdays (if in the Peoria area)

Bonus Skills and Experience:

• Azure focused certifications (E.g; AZ-104, AZ-204, etc.)
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 protocols and the underlying handshakes/cipher suites in use
• Data Science background or experience
• Other development platforms and methodologies (i.e. React, Angular, Python, WinUI 3)
• Amazon AWS
• Legacy methodologies (i.e. winforms, webforms) to assist with transitioning outdated technology to more modern systems

Additional Information:

• This position is eligible for remote work, depending on the state of residency
• A background check will be required for employment in this position
• FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible for overtime)
