Technical Art Intern

Assist the Goldfish Tech Art and Client teams in writing tools to improve development workflows and team efficiency. This position is not to exceed 6 months.

Essential Job Functions:

This position requires working closely with Tech Artists and Client Engineers to create Unity Editor tools for a variety of functions, including:

· Simple shaders

· “Asset Duplication Wizard” for existing features

· UI and TextMeshPro deformation scripts

· Safety scripts to check/set prefab default states

· Sprite usage tool

· Improvements to existing Unity Tools

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Proficiency with unity

· Understanding and use of coding standards

· Comfort with accepting critiques from the Lead Artist, Producer, and other team members

· Ability to create exciting art capable of drawing a player’s attentionExperience creating user Interface art and flows

· Create art optimized for mobile and web GL

· High degree of professionalism at all times

Nice-to-Haves:

· Experience with Git

· Experience with Bitbucket

· Experience on mobile games

Education Qualifications

· Some college coursework in computer science, information technology or related field

Vision: Close Vision, Depth Perception, Distance Vision, Ability to Adjust Focus, Peripheral Vision, Ability to Distinguish All Colors

Physical Requirements: Office environment

Work Conditions: May require weekend and evening hours.
