Technical Business Analyst
Job Description
Sogeti Des Moines is seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in an enterprise, end-to-end focus as well as the ability to identify gaps and recommend alternative solutions.Description:
- Extensive and thorough requirements elicitation and related deliverables with an insurance-specific end-to-end perspective
- Lead requirements elicitation and design sessions across multiple business and operational areas
- Convey a sense of appropriate urgency and accomplish deliverables and objectives within expected project timeframes
- Work with all impacted areas to manage potential changes to requirements
- Collaborate with project leadership as well as team members to ensure clarity of requirements
- Participate in reviewing and interpreting test results to ensure conformance to requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree
- Agile team experience
- Strong requirements elicitation
- Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance, specifically claims
- Experience with Guidewire
- Experience with lightweight visuals, storyboarding, and use cases
- The desire to keep moving forward and to strive to stay on top of emerging trends within the industry
- A self-starter that is able to work under minimal supervision
- An adept problem solver that goes beyond the obvious and will take the initiative to navigate around obstacles and challenges
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong client facing skills
- Communication skills: excellent client interaction skills; strong presentation / communication / facilitation skills (oral and written).
