Job Description

Position Overview: Technical Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product managers to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting project management, improving system efficiency, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify, define, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement and potential system enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for software development.
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and test plans.
  • Conduct data analysis and support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and quality of software deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address potential risks and issues.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with prioritizing and tracking tasks and communicating status updates
  • Knowledge of SQL queries and an understanding of data structures is highly desired
