Technical Business Analyst, Advisor

What does a successful Technical Business Analyst, Advisor do?

Solve technology systems gaps by analyzing requirements, conducting existing system analysis, reviewing designs and researching Sources of Record. The Technical Business Analyst will work with infrastructure (network, firewall, technical engineering and implementation), application, operation, and governance stakeholders to identify areas of gaps and actions to close. The BA will also identify opportunities to improve automation, end-to-end processes and ensure the process and gaps identified are moved to a "Business as Usual" state that can be maintained with quality. Use knowledge of agile project life cycle to interface with teams, monitor and report on status updates.

Essential Duties:

• Creating User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Creating diagrams including process diagrams and flow diagrams
• Working in Kanban, Scrum, and Waterfall models
• JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS projects, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Interface cross departmentally to understand the needs and objectives of the governance, application, infrastructure, and implementations teams
• Perform data quality analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or related experience
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Service Now, IPAM (BlueCat), Jira, Azure DevOps
• Experience with Financial Industry, Governance, Auditing, Security is a plus
• Experience with Value-Stream mapping
• Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
