Technical Business Analyst – IT Infrastructure (Locals to AZ & OH)

Location:Onsite – Phoenix, AZorColumbus, OH Type:C2C/W2 Industry:Information Technology / Infrastructure Job Description: We’re looking for aTechnical Business Analyst (BA)with hands-on IT infrastructure knowledge to support a Project Manager on initiatives related to file share migration, encryption, and improved access control. This BA will serve as a bridge between IT and business teams, ensuring requirements are captured, clarified, and executed effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a liaison between the technical project team and business owners for file share and data governance initiatives. • Gather and document technical and business requirements for file migration and access control projects. • Engage directly with business stakeholders to analyze and improve current file share ownership and usage. • Work closely with the Project Manager to track project progress, coordinate meetings, and manage dependencies. • Support testing, user acceptance, and documentation of IT controls. Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity environments. • Hands-on knowledge of: • File share technologies (Windows file shares, NAS/SAN) • File transfer protocols and encryption • Access controls and IT governance concepts • Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills. • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa. • Familiarity with compliance and data security standards is a plus.
