Job Description

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Business System Analyst (Credit Risk) – Hybrid for one of our clients.

Title: Technical Business System Analyst (Credit Risk)

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Long Term Contract

Few Mandatory Skills

• Credit Risk Experience is mandatory
• Star Schema basics
• OLAP DB understanding
• Concepts of data model
• SQL skills and ability to write/understand complex SQL
• ability to perform complex data exploration/profiling tasks
• experience of working with different database systems
• experience with data integration related projects.. cite examples and explain
• ability to communicate with business analysts and business partners to understand business requirements ; their experience and best practices
• understanding of data modelling principle
• Financial industry experience and concepts of finance

Primary Skills

• knowledge specially in Risk or finance technology area.

• Strong SQL knowledge, involving complex joins and analytical functions
• Good understanding of Data Flow , Data Model and database applications
• working knowledge of Databases like Oracle and Netezza
  

Secondary Skills

• Conceptual knowledge of ETL and data warehousing, working knowledge is added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of Java is added advantage

Responsibility

• Perform thorough analysis and articulation of risk or Finance Tech model data requirements.
• Identification and understanding of specific data quality issues to ensure effective delivery data to the users using standard tools
• Provide analysis of internal and external regulations (credit risk) and
• preparation of functional documentation on external regulations (credit risk)
• Need to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching.
