The opportunity

We are looking for a creative Technical Marketing Content Manager to build and scale our technical marketing content engine. This role will be responsible for authoring technical content, managing the editorial calendar, and partnering with Developer Relations, Product Marketing, Growth/Demand Gen, and Sales to deliver the right content for our technical audiences. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with a passion for creating helpful content that sticks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop original content through various channels, such as blogs, webinars, and white papers ensuring a strong web presence
  • Design a content marketing strategy, build a content plan, and execute that plan
  • Create the content plan for the year and then execute all deliverables including social media, blogs, webinar hosting, white papers, and more
  • Work with internal teams to develop and publish high-quality content
  • Edit, proofread, and improve current content
  • Manage all social media channels: creating and posting content on a consistent schedule
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement
  • Define the editorial tone of voice and ensure consistency across all content
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are met
  • Hire, onboard, and manage content freelancers as needed
Skills
  • 8+ years of technical content marketing experience
  • A deep understanding of the developer, IT, and DevOps personas and technical audiences
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience in optimization, SEO, keyword research
  • Strong technical acumen, engineering experience a plus

Benefits

Compensation for this role depends on level, but we provide a competitive mix of salary and equity.

We provide a 401(k) with a 100% match up to 3% of your salary and a 50% match up to another 2%.

We provide healthcare, dental, and vision with premiums fully covered on the base plan for employees. Half of premiums are covered for dependents. We also include long term disability, short term disability, and a term life policy at no cost to employees.

We offer unlimited PTO and a culture in which the overwhelming majority of employees take more than four weeks. Your manager will ensure you do the same.
