The Technical Content Team Lead supervises a team of Technical Content Engineers and ensures that they are creating and maintaining high-quality articles, tutorial videos, and product UI text in a timely manner to support KnowBe4’s products, features, and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with manager to ensure the team is working efficiently
  • Directs and manages people and projects to ensure they’re on track to meet deployment deadlines
  • Creates, reviews, and recommends updates to team processes and procedures
  • Assists team members in planning out new projects
  • Reviews team’s content to ensure quality
  • Attend meetings for assigned projects to represent Technical Content
  • Respond to internal requests for documentation additions or updates
  • Conducts sprint meetings and retrospectives with team members
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, consistency, and clarity within our knowledge base documentation, tutorial videos, and more
  • Track any updates/changes to KnowBe4’s products and services in our change log and release notes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Technical Communication, English, or related field) preferred

  • Minimum 3 years experience in technical writing or similar experience
  • Minimum 1 years experience in UX writing 
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading people or project initiatives
  • Experience with Google Docs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications (grammar, spelling, sentence structure) and proofreading skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with writing English for a global audience
  • Experience with project management preferred
  • Knowledge of Zendesk and Jira preferred
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology preferred
