Job Description

Kount, an Equifax company has an opening for Technical Content Writer in our Boise, Idaho office. This position will closely collaborate with Product Management, UX, IT, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to create, support, and maintain technical content across all end-user touchpoints within Kount's SaaS based applications.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing technical content that meets best practices and standards for usability, usefulness, voice/tone, and factual presentation.

What you'll do:• Work directly with team lead and stakeholders to understand customer success / user experience objectives and develop effective, compelling digital content (online integration guides, implementation instructions, API and SDK specs, knowledgebase articles, guided tours, release notes, help content, etc.).• Develop new product content and continuously revise and improve existing content to achieve communication objectives.• Perform peer reviews of technical content, implement feedback, and publish content• Proactively interview subject matter experts and stakeholders to gain a solid understanding of Kount offerings and customer needs and to gather source material for user facing product content.• Use project management skills to support business change, ensuring product content meets a high bar for quality and is delivered on time.• Weave a hybrid of HTML code and technical content to create robust customer-facing content• Create/edit technical scripts for video tutorials

What experience you'll need:• Degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, English, or Journalism or equivalent experience.• 5+ years of related professional experience.

What could set you apart:

• Proven track record and portfolio of writing and editing clear, concise, user-centric content for interactive user experiences (products, software, mobile apps, websites, etc.) preferably in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.• Naturally curious, self-starter with excellent time management skills and a track record of success managing multiple projects and deadlines.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency with document authoring tools, as well as content management systems like Github Wiki, Salesforce, and Zendesk.• Screen capture/Video editing• Community/Forum moderation• SaaS Development (Coding or programming writer)• Finance/Fraud prevention• Zendesk Guide, Gainsight PX

• Compliance experience
