About the Role: 

We are looking for Technical Content Writers / Creators with a unique blend of technical writing expertise and proficiency in creating engaging product videos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a creative flair for visual storytelling.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Technical Writing: 
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our products, including user manuals, guides, and online help documentation. 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in technical content. 
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, user-friendly language. 
  • Maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency. 
  • Product Video Creation: 
  • Conceptualize, script, and produce engaging product videos to showcase features, functionalities, and use cases. 
  • Utilize video editing software and other multimedia tools to produce high-quality videos that align with our guidelines. 
  • Incorporate animations, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance the effectiveness of product demonstrations. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to storyboard video concepts and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 
  • Content Management: 
  • Manage content repositories and version control systems to organize and maintain documentation assets. 
  • Ensure timely updates to documentation and videos in response to product changes, updates, or enhancements. 
  • Monitor user feedback and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize content accordingly.  

Requirements: 

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in technical writing, preferably in the software or technology industry. 
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools. 
  • Demonstrated ability to script, storyboard, and produce high-quality product videos. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and user-centric design.  

A plus: 

  • Experience with a help-authoring tool, particularly Madcap Flare 
  • Hands on experience with Git  
  • Exposure to API documentation processes 
  • Knowledge in working with internal sources, such as Azure, Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence 
  • Working knowledge of content-development life cycle and AGILE processes
