Job Description
The successful candidate will have prior HAWK, PATRIOT, or other Air Defense Missile System operations, maintenance, and training experience.
The Mid-Level Technical Data Analyst will support the Missile Systems Management Branch (MSMB) and perform a vast array of technical duties related to Air and Missile Defense systems for the HAWK Building Partner Capacity (BPC) program, to include project planning/analysis, program development, and financial and contracts related activities. The Technical Data Analyst researches, identifies, and makes recommendations concerning resources required for task execution and completion. He/she gathers, processes, and analyzes requests from International Partners to formulate operational data for execution. Additionally, the successful candidate will interface directly with government program managers, engineers, finance, contracts, and logistics, as part of a team in support of the HAWK program. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of briefings and presentations to government working levels and senior government officials. The Technical Data Analyst will research material for country briefings, as well as preparing reports and memorandums. He/she will work on other projects as assigned and will secure information by completing data base backups. Technical Data Analyst will also provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems. He/she should demonstrate significant knowledge on utilization of Microsoft Office Products. Experience with HAWK or Patriot missile systems, and MS Project desired.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10-12 years of Missile System experience
FMS experience supporting DoD and missile system experience preferred
Able to work in a team setting
Good oral and written communication skills
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high demand environment
Duties and responsibilities include:
Provide programmatic support services for program and project management, integrated product support, material management, financial management, and configuration management for Non-Standard Air Defense Systems
Provide technical & programmatic support at Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Financial Management Reviews (FMRs), and Weapon System Conferences
Develop and manage system related requirements and capabilities with representatives of foreign governments, other US Government agencies, and industry support contractors
Prepare, coordinate, manage, and analyze plans for the release of weapon system hardware, software, and data
Review training material, training plans, schedules, and training support packages
Coordinate and provide logistics and technical support during all phases of the system's lifecycle from development through initial fielding and Live Fire Exercises (LFX) to end of life demilitarization
Analyze test plans for requirements compliance, witness system and secondary item Government Verification Tests (GVT) and prepare test reports
Develop or contribute to the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS) for new production Air Defense equipment, equipment overhaul and upgrade, and hardware & software procurement
Participate in cross-functional teams and as a member of the Air Defense Integrated Product Team (IPT)
