Technical Developer/Consultant - Oracle Apps

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Developer/Consultant - Oracle Apps in India.

This role is focused on delivering end-to-end technical solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite environments, supporting both implementation and ongoing production systems across financial and supply chain modules. You will work on designing, developing, and customizing Oracle applications to meet complex business requirements while ensuring system stability and performance. The position involves close collaboration with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will also contribute to production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of enterprise ERP systems. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong expertise in Oracle development tools, PL/SQL, and RICE components. You will operate in a dynamic environment supporting global users and time-sensitive deliverables.

• Develop, customize, and support Oracle E-Business Suite R12 applications across Financials and Supply Chain modules including GL, AP, AR, PO, INV, OM, and FA
• Design and build custom forms, reports, interfaces, and extensions using Oracle Forms, Reports Builder, BI/XML Publisher, and JDeveloper/OAF
• Develop PL/SQL packages, APIs, and interface programs to support Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash business processes
• Handle production support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution with minimal business disruption
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design technical solutions
• Prepare technical design documents (MD70) and functional specifications (MD50) following AIM methodology standards
• Support data migration, conversion, and integration activities using SQL*Loader, UTL_FILE, and Oracle standard APIs
• Perform system enhancements, migrations, and configuration activities including AOL objects, concurrent programs, and workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (B.E / MCA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience working as an Oracle Apps Technical Consultant in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 environments
• Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms 10g, Reports Builder, XML Publisher, and OAF (JDeveloper)
• Good functional understanding of O2C, P2P cycles and core modules such as GL, AP, AR, INV, FA
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle EBS implementations and production support projects
• Knowledge of system administration tasks such as users, responsibilities, KFFs, DFFs, and concurrent programs
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global stakeholders in a structured environment
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Applications or certifications is an added advantage
