Technical Director

WWMT/ARC West Michigan is seeking a director for our newscasts. You should have experience directing fast-paced newscasts with graphics, video animations, and live shots. This person should also have knowledge of production standards and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform any production duties as assigned including:

• Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Maintain production studio and control room
  

• Experience Directing and TDing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly communicate with crew, talent and producer during live broadcast
• College degree in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of iNews, Xpression and Ross switchers a plus
• Possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and have a good visual sense
• Flexibility with schedule also preferred
