Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technical implementation with data technologies.
  • 2 years of experience in helping customers or internal colleagues develop technical capabilities or learn new data technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in consulting or implementation with data technologies in an enterprise business setting.
  • 2 years of experience in a formal training or enablement role.
  • 2 years of experience in program/project management.
  • Experience managing executive relationships and providing technical guidance to Director level stakeholders.
  • Experience in computer programming or computer scripting languages.

As a Technical Enablement Lead for the Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) team, you will develop and manage high quality technical learning experiences for GCC employees. You will work cross-functionally with Consulting delivery team members, Product Managers and Engineers, and technical specialists across the Google Cloud organization to create tailored learning experiences that help employees learn about Google Cloud products, implementation design patterns, tools and processes to help our customers achieve their goals.

In this role, you will work with technical, business and learning stakeholders, aligning enablement needs for our customer-facing technical and delivery teams and supporting them with innovative, measurable learning. You will empower, enable, skill and develop the best talent in the industry through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$151,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed needs assessments in coordination with Field, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams. Translate business/technical needs into role-specific training offerings and programs with a focus on just-in-time learning
  • Oversee the development of technical training content by partnering with curriculum development teams, product managers, vendors, and/or other subject matter experts
  • Deliver and support delivery of technical training for onboarding and ongoing enablement to technical field audiences
  • Plan and execute key enablement events and regularly facilitated classes to drive learning adoption
