As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3 - 6 years overall experience in functional or technical role.

Responsibilities

As Oracle Cerner continues to grow, we're hiring a Technical Engagement Leader to plan, monitor, and ensure the delivery of client project services from initiation to completion. In this role, you will serve as the technical liaison between Oracle Cerner and the client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule and within scope; manage and support client go-live events; and plan and manage client upgrades. Additionally, you will provide input into the development and management of the overall client technical project roadmap and domain strategy; maintain client relationships, facilitate day-to-day operations and communications; and participate in weekly client calls. Basic Qualifications
  • 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • 2 years of system administration, system engineering, and/or technical project/program management work experience
    • 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be a permanent US resident - citizen or Green Card holder
  • Technical background and education
  • Direct end client exposure is preferred along with the ability to identify and discuss goals, gaps, and project issues with internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Scripting experience with IDM, Ruby, Python, etc. is highly preferred
  • Oracle Cerner Millennium experience preferred
  • Experience leading technical implementations ideal

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $29.86 to $58.17 per hour; from $62,100 to $121,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $28.22 to $52.36 per hour; from $58,700 to $108,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $28.22 to $55.24 per hour; from $58,700 to $114,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $31.54 to $55.24 per hour; from $65,600 to $114,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
