Technical Engineer

As a Technical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning and preparation of technical challenges, ensuring efficient execution and continuous improvement of operations. You will combine analytical problem-solving, technical expertise, and teamwork to support multiple vessels, gaining exposure to diverse vessel types and challenges.Your responsibilities

• Prepare and address technical problems, including repair methods, budgeting, resourcing, and safety checks.

• Deliver fully prepared plans and documents ready for execution.

• Analyze recurring issues and propose technical improvements in collaboration with the reliability team.

• Provide technical advice to procurement and support negotiations with subcontractors.

• Conduct on-site visits to ships for assessments and preparation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Stay informed about the latest technical innovations.

Your profile

• Holds a degree in a technical or engineering field, preferably related to marine or industrial engineering.

• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Shows technical knowledge and interest in vessel systems and operations.

• Is a technical generalist with the ability to adapt across various challenges.

• Excels at teamwork and collaboration with diverse teams.

• Is flexible and willing to travel occasionally for short business trips (80% HQ-based, 20% travel).
