Technical Engineering Manager

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Technical Engineering Manager that has experience working across multiple projects as both Program Manager and Technical Lead solving challenging problems for our clients. The successful candidate will have experience interacting with all stakeholders on the various program, including engineers, developers, other vendors/contractors, security, and executive level sponsors. Other responsibilities include:

• Leading Agile teams using DevSecOps best practices
• Architecting cloud and cloud-native systems using leading technologies
• Manage subcontractor relationships and documentation, to include approving invoices, coordinating NDA and subcontract documentation, reviewing Monthly Status Reports, and monitoring budget
• Updating and maintaining project management artifacts, such as, risk registers, budgets, staffing plans, etc.
• Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats
• Identifying and addressing client needs while displaying the ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and manage implementation efforts
• Support bid and proposal efforts for Software and DevOps pursuits including leading RFI responses, technical volumes, orals presentations, and tech challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience architecting and developing systems using one or more of the following languages: C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
• 4+ years’ experience leading/managing teams using Agile/DevOps practices
• Experience with Cloud Service Providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Highly knowledgeable on DevOps best practices, cloud and cloud-native architectures
• In-depth understanding of Kubernetes platforms and CNCF projects
• Comfortable in a project startup environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
  
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or higher

• Masters’ Degree in Computer Science or related fields
