CLA, one of the nation's largest public accounting and professional services firm is currently seeking a Technical Financial Analyst to join our growing Enterprise Business

The Technical Financial Analyst provides services for the areas of invoice processing and reconciliation, supports vendor relations, and assists with procurement requests. Works closely with the Lead Financial Analysts and the Manager Contract & Budget Services.

Essential Job Functions

• Invoice processing: Codes invoices; processing invoices in ERP system and tracking them until paid; requests details for invoice processing and approvals where needed; responsible for follow up on requests ensuring timely processing and payments are possible; follows up on business process delays and stops; escalates as needed to Lead Financial Analyst.

• Vendor communication: Responsible for relevant vendor communication around invoice receipt, clarifications needed, AR/AP reconciliation in the assigned areas and beyond; escalates vendor invoicing issues to the Lead Financial Analyst and/or the Manager Contract & Budget Services.

• Service Requests: Assists with license requests for software by auditing availability of licenses; assists with procurement of additional licenses as needed; creates and assists with the creation/maintenance of the Knowledge Base in form of KA write ups for the service desk.

• Procurement: Assists with procurement tasks for software, hardware, and subscriptions as needed and assigned; assists vendor management with the processing of software and maintenance renewals.

• Reporting: Creates and/or maintains reports on license counts, capitalized equipment, user lists, SoW/invoice tracking, tracking of daily processed invoices, using supporting reporting from ERP system as part of invoice validation and more as needed to follow business processes and productivity goals.

Processes: Assists with continuous improvement of processes by following processes and identifying inefficiencies and gaps; assists with documenting and maintaining process and knowledge documentation for analysts.

Experience

• 2 years of overall Accounting, relative Accounts Payable or Information Technology experience.
• Strong understanding of Software, Application and Hardware services preferred.
• IT exposure preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
