Tower Research Capital LLC seeks a Technical Financial Associate in Gurgaon, India. The Telco division is responsible for providing connectivity inter and intra global exchange locations for the transmission of Tower’s high-frequency trading data. As the Technical Financial Associate, you will be responsible for: analyzing, reviewing, data-entry and generating reports for telecommunication-related invoices/bills; and, supporting intra-company chargebacks to internal clients. 

Responsibilities

As a Technical Financial Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and data entering all incoming telecommunication-related invoices and updating in house databases.
• Confirming that invoices are being assigned and processed by Tower’s internal teams
• Generating financial data report in Tableau and conduct a month to month cost analysis to achieve cost saving
• Assisting with monthly chargeback with Tower’s internal teams, including identifying errors, and resolving disputes
• Improving Telco billing status by monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending action steps to team management

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in a related field (e.g bank, trading venue, or a trading firm)
• A degree, or working background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macro, pivot table, VBA)
• Python, SQL, Tableau skills would be preferred but not required
• Excellent analytical skills, and experience consolidating and analyzing financial data in spreadsheets and databases
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
• Ability to build relationships, both internally and externally
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
