Position Summary

Mavely’s Technical HR Specialist you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for technical roles, creating a shortlist of qualified individuals, engaging with potential candidates and supporting IT/asset management functions of the company. Your focus will be on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring we attract top talent. By building a robust tech talent pipeline, you will contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of highly skilled professionals for our IT positions.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate all talent acquisition and recruitment processes for the organization.

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and draft detailed job descriptions.

  • Screen resumes and applications and conduct initial phone screenings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates. Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.

  • Foster long-lasting relationships with past applicants and potential candidates for future job openings.

  • Keep abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in latest recruitment practices.

  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities

  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)

  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

  • Resolving IT support requests from employees & answering employee questions regarding computer systems

  • Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems

  • Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues

  • Asset management for all employees as well as vendor management

  • Generating sign ins for new hires during the onboarding process

  • Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed

  • Updating employees on the status of their service requests

  • Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed

  • Any other duties assigned by management.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter

  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Google and Teams)

  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles

  • High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware and applications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and best practices 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Strong knowledge of company policy, goals and standards

  • Ability to maintain and create templates on DocuSign and Adobe

  • Ability to assume responsibility & exercise good judgment when making decisions within the scope of the position.

  • Ability to perform the job safely & with respect for others, for property, & for individual safety
