Kognito (www.kognito.com) is a brand of Ascend Learning and develops role-play simulations where users engage in conversations with virtual humans and learn how to lead similar conversations in real-life that result in improved social, emotional, and physical health. We work with more than 800 health, education, and gov't organizations in and outside of the U.S. To date, more than 1 million people have completed a Kognito simulation. Our team of 200+ people include learning scientists, psychologists, software engineers, graphic artists, writers, and operation specialists.

The Technical Implementation manager will lead our content delivery integration discussions with clients and prospects, ensuring that we are working with clients to deliver the Kognito content via the best methodology for the client and their users. This individual will be responsible for assisting the client with implementing their desired integrations. This is a client facing position in the Client Success Department reporting to the Director of Client Success.This position will work from our Leawood, KS location/hybrid. Remote will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with prospects and clients to discuss the best method to deliver the Kognito content training courses
  • Documentation in Salesforce
  • Project planning
  • Technical documentation on SOPs
  • Pre sales solution engineer to discuss content delivery options with stakeholders and determine best process for delivering the Kognito products to: students, staff and/or parents.
  • Manage all content delivery integrations via LTI - set up, support, training and troubleshooting
  • Manage SSO setups and rostering for our existing Kognito LMS
  • Assist with identifying and managing partners that could help deliver the Kognito content
  • Work closely with Client Success and Sales partners to ensure clients are set up for content delivery success


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years experience in client account management role with emphasis on technical implementations/integrations.
  • PK12 or Higher Education experience required.
  • Solid understanding of APIs between Front End and Back end systems (REST-based).
  • Deep understanding of software authentication methods and practices, specifically OAuth2, and a general understanding of software security.
  • Detailed knowledge of Learning Tools Interoperability Advantage (LTI-A) is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of IMS Standards, such as Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) and One Roster
  • Knowledge in Clever and Classlink, identity management solutions
